These seminars are designed to sharpen your protocols, client outcomes, and confidence—while staying firmly inside California scope-of-practice standards.

SEA™ Professional Education courses are non-licensure, continuing education and professional development seminars intended for licensed estheticians, cosmetologists, and healthcare professionals practicing within their existing scope of practice.

  • Courses do not replace state-approved esthetics or cosmetology programs and do not qualify any attendee to sit for a California licensure exam.
  • Certificates of completion are for education only and are not licenses, certifications, or board approvals.
  • SEA™ does not authorize attendees to perform medical procedures (injectables, prescription-only treatments, laser/RF/energy devices) without appropriate licensure, supervision, and medical direction as required by California law.
  • Attendees are responsible for knowing and following the regulations of the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, the California Board of Registered Nursing, and any other applicable agencies.

Designed for licensed estheticians, and cosmetologists who need a structured foundation before deeper clinical esthetics education.

Advanced Theory

Understanding & Treatment of Hyperpigmentation

A deep-dive into pigment disorders with practical, scope-appropriate approaches for esthetic treatment planning.

  • Melanocyte function and the melanogenesis process.
  • Common triggers: UV, hormones, inflammation, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
  • Layering peels, topicals, and devices safely within esthetic scope.

Class Policies & Terms

  • Refunds: For a full refund, please contact us at least 7 days before the start of class. Cancellations within 3 days of class start are not eligible for refund, and no-shows forfeit all tuition.
  • Rescheduling / SEA Cancellations: SEA™ reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any class. In the event SEA™ cancels a class, a full refund or transfer to a future date will be offered.
  • Repeat Class Rate: If you have previously completed a specific SEA™ class and wish to attend again as a refresher, repeat seats may be offered at a discounted rate (typically 50% of the current tuition), subject to availability.
  • Rates Subject to Change: Tuition and fees may change without notice. The tuition confirmed at registration is the binding amount for that class date.
  • Class Size: In-person classes typically host approximately 6–8 students. Zoom classes may host up to ~25 participants to preserve Q&A and interaction.
